It’s week 3 of the #STCexperiment and this week is all about the catalyst and debate! I thought this was going to be a hard part to outline, but turns out I had already done most of my catalyst and debate outlining without realizing it!
In case you didn’t already know, I’m co-writing the Marketing for Authors series with fellow indie author Bethany Atazadeh. We’ve both been working so hard on all the books in this series and it’s so exciting because we’re now able to start revealing things to you! For today, the reveal is the cover for the first book in the series: How Your Book Sells Itself. If you want to see the cover, you’re going to have to watch the video!
I’m taking part in National Novel Writing Month! Though it does come with a catch. I’m not writing 50,000 words and I’m also not writing a novel. Find out the details of my work in progress as I do the NaNoWriMo WIP tag created by Bethany Atazadeh.
I was tagged by Brittany Wang to do the Author Trivia Tag, created by Lenn Woolston. Basically, the tag is 10 random facts you might not have know about me, so let’s get to chatting! Let me know in the comments if any of these facts surprised you!
Joining me for this video is Bethany Atazedah and Evie Driver as we talk about everything you should know about editing your book when you want to self-publish. This was filmed during the Wander Writer’s Retreat, which is why we’re in a hotel room, but we’re ready to deliver as much info to you as possible.
Last weekend I was so excited to travel to Minneapolis for the first ever Wander Writers Retreat! As you can tell from the vlog, I had a great time meeting so many amazing writers. I’m always so happy to make these lasting connections and to also see so many writers with such bright futures ahead of them. Be sure to subscribe to all the lovely ladies!
It’s been awhile since I did a casual blog, so I figured, why not? I had a few gifts to package from BookCon and needed to do the Writing Ideas Tag that was created by the wonderful Brooke Passmore and Bethany Atazadeh. And I tag…well, everyone! See the tag questions below so you can participate!
