Life Above Clouds

Why do you hike? That’s the question we hope to answer with Life Above Clouds. The Four Thousand Footer Club was formed by the Appalachian Mountain Club in 1957 to introduce hikers to some of the lesser known trails of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Life Above Clouds hopes to follow hikers of all levels to see what it is that drives us to hike. Life Above Clouds is a documentary style film created by Mandi Lynn Strzelewicz with the help of hikers across the United States.

What will you be doing?

I will be emailing you a set of questions. Simply film yourself answering the questions! Share your story and inspiration. Also feel free to send me videos or photos of you hiking if you don’t mind having it in the film! I cannot guarantee that I will use all the film sent to me, but I’m happy to hear from as many people as possible.

All information you need will be available on this page as well as in an email you will receive from me.
